A one-day Training of Trainers (ToT) Programme was organized at the Cathedral campus, Shimoga by the Commission for Women of the Diocese of Shimoga.
Rev. Fr Stany D’Souza, the Dean of Carmel Deanery, addressing the women at ToT session said that the women are visible face of the invisible compassionate God in our families in particular and in society at large. Sr Nancy Lobo the Regional coordinator for Women's Commission was the resource person of the day.
The Commission took the opportunity to felicitate Mrs. Helen D'Souza of Sacred Heart Cathedral Parish, who won recently medals in sports in Malaysia.
Thanks to the Parish priests and the teams of Sagar, Theerthahalli, Sorabha, Harihara, Chitradurga, Ragigudda, Sharavathnagar, Gopala, Anandapur, Bhadravathi Old Town, Bhadravathi New Town and the Sacred Heart Cathedral parishes for their wholehearted co-operation and participation.
The ToT Programme has infused new life and greater enthusiasm in women.
