November 19, 2023: Holy Family Deanery of Diocese of Shimoga organised Altar Servers rally at Our Lady of Assumption Church, Hiriyur, Chitradurga District on November 19th.
Program began at 10am with Inauguration by lighting the lamp by Fr Franklin D'Souza Parish Priest of Our Lady of Assumption Church, Hiriyur. Then Fr Nelson D'Souza led a session on "Altar Servers and their responsibilities". At 11:30 Fr Franklin D'Souza spoke on "Altar service is a call by God". Then at 12:15pm Fr Franklin D'Souza led adoration and prayed for the Altar Servers. Anointing with oil session was led.
At 12:45pm Fr Richard Anil D'Souza Dean of Holy Family Deanery offered the thanksgiving Holy Eucharist and prayed for the Altar Servers.
Program concluded at 2:30pm with lunch
