Sr Elize Lourdh SCB and the Prison Ministry of India Team visited the Women’s Central Prison on Saturday 23rd of September and provided health check to the inmates.
Sr Clara SCB from Mary Immaculate Convent and two teachers from Mary Immaculate School participated in the Programme. The Medical staff from the Sarji Super Speciality Hospital helped to organise the programme. Mrs Ambika initiated the events with a prayer song and the welcome speech.
Mrs Shantha the Deputy Superintendent of the Prison who presided over the programme spoke on the celebration of the festival and the need of health care and hygiene for each one of us. She showed her appreciation to Sisters and Staff for spending much time and giving inner strength to the inmates.
Sr Elize SCB thanked everyone particularly the hospital staff for their contribution and expressed gratitude to Prison officials for their positive support.
