Sannidhi, Shimoga: As part of their ongoing formation, the MFC-SHIMOGA had two days of Marriage Enrichment Program on 27 - 28 May 2023 at Sannidhi, the Diocesan Pastoral Centre. Altogether 10 MFC families attended the Program. It was animated by the Bangalore MFC team.
This program was in view of deepening their spousal bond that makes them live in the true spirit of love and to live the Christian values wherever they live. The major topics dealt during the program are as follows:
Serving God through Christian Marriage, Christian Couple as a Pastoral Team,
Role of a Christian Husband,
Role of a Christian Wife,
Effective Communication in a Marriage, Healing our Marriages,
Quality Time and
Building our Homes for God.
Besides the above, they spend their time in sharing, adoration and holy mass. The focal event in this program is to revisit and recollect their first marriage days so as to make their bond stronger during "candle light dinner"" set-up.
Including the children and MFC Bangalore, there were 44 participants. What could be highlighted about this program is that there was joy, peace and happiness on the faces of the Couples and their children.
All the participating couples expressed their feelings about the program and explained how it has helped them in their commitment to marriage. They thanked the members of MFC Bangalore. The program ended with the Holy Eucharist offered by Fr Ronald Dcunha, the Procurator of the diocese.
