On April 14, 2025, the youth of Our Lady of Vailankanni Church, Bhadravathi, organized a spiritually enriching Taizé prayer service under the leadership of Prem Bennis, Bro. Glanson, Bro. Ashlin, and the ICYM unit of Old Town Church.
The service commenced at 6:00 PM and concluded at 8:30 PM with the veneration of the Cross and the Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament. The serene atmosphere, enhanced by meditative chants, created a powerful space for reflection, unity, and spiritual renewal.
A total of 45 youth from the parish, along with 35 Jesus Youth members from Nirmala College of Nursing, participated in the event, joined by a large gathering of parishioners.
Following the prayer, the youth served tea and snacks to all attendees, fostering fellowship and a spirit of community.
The evening proved to be a memorable and grace-filled experience, drawing hearts closer to Christ through prayer, music, and silence.
