A vibrant and spirit-filled summer camp titled "Camp with Christ" was conducted over three days at St. Joseph's Church, Sagar. The camp took place with the enthusiastic participation of 58 children, including both boys and girls, from the parish and surrounding areas.
The camp aimed to help children grow spiritually, build fellowship, and engage in fun, educational activities rooted in Christian values. Each day began with prayer and praise, followed by sessions on biblical teachings, group discussions, creative workshops, and interactive games. Special attention was given to nurturing faith through music, skits, and personal sharing.
The event concluded with a thanksgiving Eucharist, where children showcased what they learned and experienced during the camp. Parents and parishioners appreciated the efforts of the organizing team and volunteers who ensured the camp was a memorable and enriching experience for all the participants.
Fr. Kiran Leema and Fr. Vinuth Balu Kumar served as the main resource persons throughout the camp, leading the sessions with deep insight and youthful energy. Their guidance helped the children better understand the values of Christian living and the love of Christ.
Msgr. Fr. Felix Joseph Noronha, the Parish Priest, gave his full support to the camp, encouraging the organizing team and ensuring all arrangements were in place for its smooth and successful conduct. His presence and encouragement were a great blessing to the children and volunteers alike.
The camp concluded with a short cultural program where children joyfully expressed what they had learned. Parents and parishioners appreciated the initiative and the spiritual impact it had on the young participants.
