On June 8, 2025, during the festal Sunday Mass of Pentecost, the installation ceremony of catechism teachers took place at Our Lady of Vailankanni Church, Old Town, Bhadravathi.
A total of 10 faith formation teachers came forward to pledge their commitment before the Lord, receiving the prayers and blessings of the parish community.
In his homily, Parish Priest Fr. Steevan D'Sa highlighted the dedication and important role of catechism teachers in nurturing the faith of the younger generation. He also offered special prayers for them and appealed to parents to give their full cooperation and support in the faith formation of their children.
