Night Vigil Prayer -26 August 2023
The Karnataka Regional Renewal Movement in collaboration with Shimoga Diocese organised a Night Vigil Prayer Service at St Joseph's Church, Sagar.
The Prayer Vigil started at 9.00 pm on Saturday August 26, 2023 and concluded with Holy Eucharist the following morning. Rev. Fr. Franklin D'Souza, conducted the night vigil. Several faithful from Vianney Deanery participated in the prayer.
National Youth Sunday -27 August 2023
St Joseph's Church, Sagar organized 'National Youth Sunday' on 27 August, 2023. Fr. Pius D'Souza, the Youth Director of Shimoga Diocese presided over the Eucharistic celebration on the youth day. Several youth leaders and members actively participated in the Eucharist and the celebration that followed.
There was an interactive session organized for the youth. The ICYM members provided excellent input useful for the youth of today and planned activities for the entire year. The election for the office bearers of YCS was also conducted. Around 90 young people were present for the event. After the vote of thanks and concluding prayer lunch was served to all.
