INVESTITURE CEREMONY
The momentous day of INVESTITURE CEREMONY day dawned to bestow responsibilities on the deserving young talented students to lead our school from the front with their commitment, confidence and competence. The school held the ceremony on 18th July 2022 with great enthusiasm, presided over by the Manager, Headmistress and the Assistant Manager.
It was the occasion where the elected students were all prepared to wear the mantle of leadership and discharge the responsibility entrusted to them by the school management. To inculcate the leadership qualities in students and to give them a feel of being an important and integrated part of the administrative body, ‘Student Council’ is formed this year too.
The event began with a Prayer followed by the inauguration of the ceremony by lighting of the lamp by the Manager, Headmistress, assistant Manager, newly elected Student Pupil leader (SPL) and the assistant SPL. The manager then received the oath from the leaders and handed over the school flag as a sign of delegating responsibility to the newly elected office bearers.
In his address he stressed on spreading the light of knowledge and passing on the rich legacy of values of Discipline, Knowledge, Love and Service. Short cultural program was organized too. The day marked an important event in the history of Deepika High School.
