Our Lady of Mount Carmel, the Annual Feast Cathedral Parish Celebreted

Shimoga : July 18, 2017: The feast mass Our Lady of Mount Carmel feast was celebrated on Sunday, July 16, 2017, at Shimoga Cathedral. Bishop Francis Serrao was the main celebrant.

Fr. Gilbert Lobo, the Parish Priest of the Cathedral, thanked the bishop and priests for celebrating and participating in the mass. He thanked all those who had contributed for the success of the 9 days of novena and of the feast. He wished all those who gathered a Happy Feast.

The Day ended with the traditional procession of Mount Carmel on the main roads of the Shimoga city in the evening. The Procession was attended by people of all faiths. Thousands devotees both Catholics as well devotees belong to the other faith participated in the Feast.
