Hosanagara, 13,June 2019: The feast of St. Anthony of Padua the patron saint of the parish of Hosanagara was celebrated with zest and zeal on 13th June 2019. The faithful of the parish were prepared for the feast with three days of Novena with the themes like “Let’s become saints like St. Antony” on the first day, ‘the tongue of St. Antony’ the greatest and the most precious gift he possessed on the second day and Building up good Catholic families was on the third day. The festal mass was celebrated by Most Rev. Bishop Francis Serrao SJ the Bishop of Shimoga. In his preaching he stressed on the theme Forgiveness. The bishop was honoured on the completion of his five years of Episcopal Ordination and 60th Birthday. The Bishop thanked and appreciated Fr. Clifford Fernandes and thanked him for his selfless service to the parish.
