BLOOD DONATION CAMP: AN ECUMENICAL VENTURE
A day of Blood Donation Camp was organized in Shivamogga by the Association of all Christian Pastors. (UCF) to mark the 1950th year of the martyrdom of St Thomas the Apostle.
The director of SMSS, Rev. Fr Clifford Roshan Pinto, inaugurated the camp with a opening prayer and by donating the blood himself.
Most Rev. Dr. Francis Serrao SJ. the Bishop of Shimoga, in his inaugural address highlighted the life of St Thomas the Apostle and declared the purpose of the blood donation camp. Many volunteered to donate blood. The well organized programme was much appreciated by one and all.
