21 June 2022 : Prerana Social Action Center, Jagalur, Shimoga Diocese, organized taluk level International Yoga Day with the collaboration of Yoga and Naturopathic Center and Government College and High School Jagalur.
Dr Nagaraj the Taluk Health Officer along with other dignitaries inaugurated the programme. BEO Umadevi, Om Shanthi Bharathi Akka, Shaheena Begum, Assistant BEO Mr Halesh, Manjunath Guruji, Mr. Ganesh Naik were the guests of honour of the day.
Dr. Swetha, the Officer of Yoga and Naturopathic and her team conducted the yoga. The event is the brain child of Rev. Fr William Miranda OCD.
